The Stillth Grove
About me and The Stillth Grove
Stillth (n.) — the quality of being still; the deep quiet found at the heart of things.
You don’t need to have it together to be here.
In fact if you did, you probably wouldn’t be reading this.
Maybe you’re exhausted from holding everything together while someone you love is inside. Maybe you’re rebuilding after a period that knocked you completely sideways. Maybe you just need to talk to an actual human being who isn’t going to hand you a leaflet or add you to a waiting list.
Whatever brought you here — you’re welcome.

Hi, I’m Emily
I’m a life and mindfulness coach based in Worcester, and I created The Stillth Grove because I couldn’t find what I needed when I was in my own hard places. So I built the space I wished had existed.
I’m not going to pretend I came to this work through a neat professional journey. I came to it through living. Through my own mental and physical health recovery, through loving someone who has been in prison for years, through navigating prison systems across thousands of miles, through the kind of experiences that don’t fit neatly into a referral form.
I know what it’s like to feel like a caseload rather than a person. I know what it’s like to need to say “f** everything” to someone who won’t flinch. I know what it’s like when the path ahead feels completely unclear and everyone around you seems to be managing just fine.
I also know that things can change. Not always quickly, not always cleanly — but they can.

What coaching with me actually looks like
It looks like a conversation. A real one.
I’m not reading from a script or working through a rigid framework. I bring structure when it’s helpful and set it aside when it isn’t.
I use mindfulness, not in a sit-cross-legged-and-think-of-nothing way, but practically, as a way of finding stillness in the noise so we can actually think clearly together.
I’ll challenge you gently when it serves you. I’ll sit quietly with you when that’s what’s needed. I’ll never make you feel like your situation is too complicated, too messy or too much.
Sessions are online, an hour long, and work around your life not the other way around.

What I Bring
- Lived experience of mental and physical health recovery
- Years of navigating the criminal justice system alongside someone I love
- Training in life coaching, mindfulness, and mental health awareness
- A genuine belief that the people who need support most are often the ones who fall through every gap
I’m also a gardener, a lover of wild windy beaches, a maker of things, a walker of muddy paths, and someone who takes herbalism seriously and social media not at all.
A note on where I am
The Stillth Grove is a new practice and I’m currently welcoming pilot clients at free and reduced rates. That means you get access to genuine, committed coaching support — and I get the experience of working with real people in real situations. It works both ways.
If any of this sounds like what you need, I’d genuinely love to hear from you. No referral needed. No form to fill in. Just get in touch.
