A deliberate choice
Why you won’t find me on social media
A deliberate choice, not an oversight.
If you’ve looked for The Stillth Grove on Instagram or Facebook and come up empty, that’s intentional.
I don’t use social media. Not for the practice, and not personally either. This is a considered life choice rather than a gap I haven’t got round to filling yet.
Here’s why.
It doesn’t align with what I’m offering
The Stillth Grove exists as a space away from noise. Somewhere still, considered and real. Building it on platforms designed to maximise scrolling, comparison and distraction would feel fundamentally at odds with everything this practice stands for.
I’m also aware that many of the people who find their way here are already carrying a lot. The last thing I want is for The Stillth Grove to become another thing competing for your attention in an overwhelming feed.
It’s not how I work best
I’m not interested in performing wellness for an audience. I’m interested in genuine one to one connection with real people in real situations. Social media rewards performance (or payment!) That’s not what this is.
I’ve seen what it does
I know from my own experience how social media can quietly erode your sense of self, distort your perception of other people’s lives, and become a way of avoiding the very things you most need to sit with. I chose to step away, and it was one of the better decisions I’ve made.
How to find me instead
